Cancellation and Refund Policy
Applies to Adi Nampreet Yoga bookings, passes, workshops and events
Effective date: 19 July 2026 · ABN 48 165 911 789 · satnaam@adinampreetyoga.com
1. Private sessions
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a private session. With less than 48 hours’ notice, or if you do not attend, the payment or package session is forfeited unless we agree to provide a credit because of a genuine emergency.
2. Regular group classes
Please give at least one hour’s notice to cancel a regular group class. With less than one hour’s notice, or if you do not attend, the payment or class-pass session is forfeited unless we agree to provide a credit because of a genuine emergency.
3. Workshops and special events
Please give at least seven days’ notice to cancel a workshop or special event. Where sufficient notice is given, we may offer a transfer or account credit rather than a cash refund, as stated on the event page. With less than seven days’ notice, or if you do not attend, the payment is forfeited unless we agree to provide a credit because of a genuine emergency.
A replacement participant cannot be sent in your place unless we give written approval, because bookings are non-transferable.
4. Genuine emergencies
We understand that genuine emergencies happen. Contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Any discretionary credit will take account of the circumstances, costs already committed and the nature of the booking. We may request reasonable supporting information where appropriate. A discretionary credit is not a cash refund and may have an expiry date.
5. Passes, packages and change of mind
Passes and packages are non-transferable and are not refundable for change of mind. Unless otherwise displayed, the 10-Class Pass expires three months after purchase. A discretionary extension may be considered for illness or exceptional personal circumstances, preferably where requested before expiry.
6. If we cancel
If we cancel and cannot provide the purchased service, you may choose an appropriate replacement date or service, account credit, or refund. If a service failure is major, or cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, you retain the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Technology difficulties
If we experience a material technology failure that prevents delivery of an online service, we will provide a reasonable remedy, which may include rescheduling, replacement access, credit or refund. A participant’s internet, device, software or local technical problem does not automatically entitle them to a refund, although we will help where reasonably possible.
8. How to cancel
Email satnaam@adinampreetyoga.com or use the cancellation method shown in your booking confirmation. The time we receive the request determines whether the notice period has been met.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. References to “non-refundable” apply to change-of-mind cancellations and do not remove rights arising from a failure to provide services with due care and skill or other applicable consumer guarantees.
This is a practical business policy based on information provided for Adi Nampreet Yoga. It is not a substitute for legal advice. An Australian solicitor should review policies before relying on them for specialised circumstances.
